Amar Sotomayor started her career in her native Puerto Rico as a dancer for various Puerto Rican artists. Later, she pursued her passion for modeling, singing, and acting. Four years ago, she made the life-changing decision to transition and has since been a proud and visible transgender Puerto Rican artist, using her platform to inspire others to be true to themselves.

Amar's desire to work as an actress and model in Los Angeles has been a lifelong dream, and she finally decided to pursue it after Hurricane María struck Puerto Rico. Before leaving, she worked with FEMA as an interpreter to assist those affected by the disaster.

Amar's personal quote, "Namaste y TE CALLAS!", reflects her belief in the power of positive energy and the importance of shutting out negativity. She hopes to inspire others to embrace their uniqueness and to never give up on their dreams.
